Research Associate/Research Fellow to support the work of Military REACH

Military REACH provides high-quality resources to the DoD’s Office of Military Community and Family Policy in the form of research reports and professional development tools across the spectrum of family support, readiness, and resilience.
In collaboration with the larger research team, this individual will assist in the summarizing and synthesizing of family science research for target audiences. Those target audiences primarily include policymakers and direct services helping professionals. This position requires the candidate to have advanced research literacy and considerable writing experience, such that they must be able to interpret statistical models, critically evaluate individual studies and bodies of literature, and translate research into everyday language to explain scientific findings to audiences without a research background.
** Since September 2017, Military REACH has been housed at Auburn University and there has been continuous funding. All positions on our team, including the one currently posted, are a one-year term appointments; continuation of employment is contingent upon availability of funding and job performance. **
