I conduct research related to the education and treatment of individuals with developmental and/or sensory disabilities. In particular, my research is focused upon early intervention for children with autism presenting with marked skill deficiencies (e.g., limited language or social skills) or behavioral excesses (e.g., aggressive or self-injurious behavior). I have also been developing instructional programs for teaching braille reading to children with visual impairments and their teachers.
