My research is focused on understanding individual differences in social and affective functioning in humans by using a multi-modal approach. I am interested in understanding the pathway between genes, the brain and social behavior in humans, and how culture is associated with how people feel and make decisions. In my laboratory, we use multi-modal approach that includes genetics, brain-imaging, personality assessment, social-behavioral experiments and cultural assessments. The primary objective of research within our lab is to understand the factors contributing to, and associated with, individual differences in the way people think and process their social world.
