My research program examines the relationships between personality, specifically the implicit or unconscious side of personality and behavior in organizations. During the last 10 years I have been involved in the development and validation of several measures designed to assess implicit personality. Most of my work has focused on the measurement of aggressive personality characteristics and linking those characteristics to outcomes such as counterproductive work behavior, leadership, team processes & performance, and test faking.
I am also interested in the development and application of new statistics designed to improve the decisions made by organizational scholars. Current projects involve issues associated with 1) relative importance of predictors in multiple regression, 2) interrater agreement and reliability, and 3) analyzing multilevel (including dyadic) and longitudinal data.
