Service Learning: Girls in Adolescence is a service learning course that will be offered in Spring 2010. This course examines the psychological changes that occur in girls as they progress through adolescence. The primary focus will be on socially constructed gender-typed influences from early adolescence to early adulthood. In addition, the course will apply this scientific and theoretical knowledge of adolescent development to the service learning setting.
Research Interests: The influences of socially constructed gender roles on the psychology of girls and women.
