My primary interest focuses on Americans\' welfare attitude, especially the improvement of its conceptualization and measurement and examination of its longitudinal changes, with special attention to underrepresented and underserved populations.\r\nMy secondary interest focuses on comparative social policy analysis and welfare state politics, with a strong emphasis on variation-finding and typologies.\n\nMy methodological expertise mainly features psychometrics especially latent variable modeling, such as factor analysis, item response theory, latent class/profile analysis, and measurement invariance. \r\nI am also proficient in multilevel modeling, longitudinal modeling, structural equation modeling, causal inference, and Bayesian statistics.
