The focal point of Dr. Foels research agenda revolves around social work practice, diversity, social justice and change, social work education issues, and distance education. Other areas of interest include social work with groups and expressive arts. During her time at Millersville University, she frequently explores other avenues for publications in these areas and opportunities for interdisciplinary collaborative community engaged research and service learning projects both domestically and internationally. Additionally, Dr. Foels consistently presents at international and national conferences and symposia as well as local, regional, and state conferences and symposia.
