This can include but is not limited to those working in the areas of affective, social, clinical, developmental, and/or cognitive neuroscience.

That position is targeted for researchers using animal or human models with interests that include, but are not limited to, circuit/systems neuroscience, endocrine, ethological, physiological, genetic/epigenetic, anatomical/functional connectivity, or pharmacological approaches to understanding typical/atypical behavioral development, cognitive functioning, aging, neuropathology, social behavior, or mental health.

Psychology has over 500 undergraduate majors and Department courses serve approximately 4000 students each semester.

Prospective applicants should note that diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging are core values within the Department of Psychology and across UC Berkeley. Our excellence can be fully realized only by faculty, students, and staff who share our commitment to these values. Successful candidates will demonstrate excellence in this area.
