Job Description
The Department of STEM Education & Professional Studies seeks applicants for a 10-month faculty position as a Lecturer of Library & Information Studies to start July 25, 2026. The primary responsibilities for this position are:
- To develop and teach graduate, distance learning courses in library and information studies.
- To participate in the administration and recruitment initiatives of the Master of Library and Information Studies program.
- To develop and maintain relationships with employers in libraries, archives, and other related institutions to assist with recruitment, program growth, and placements.
- To participate in the professional and intellectual community through service in the program, department, and college.

Minimum required education and/or special licenses, registrations, trainings, or certifications
The minimum requirement for this position is a Master of Library Science or equivalent degree from a program accredited by the American Library Association.
