The primary responsibility of the position is to teach three undergraduate courses per semester. The specific courses to be taught will be chosen based on three considerations: the candidate’s areas of expertise, the candidate’s needs as a postdoctoral scholar to develop a range of teaching preparations, and departmental needs. Although most courses will be taught in-person, the candidate might be asked to teach one or more courses on-line.

Applications must include the following: 1) cover letter, 2) CV, 3) statement of teaching philosophy and interests (upload as specific request 1), 4) evidence of undergraduate teaching success if available (upload as specific request 2), and 5) a statement on inclusivity (upload as specific request 3). As a department and university, we are strongly committed to creating an inclusive and effective teaching, learning, and working environment for all. In one to two pages, applicants should reflect on their commitments, approaches, and insights related to inclusion, diversity, and equity. In addition, please provide the names and contact information for three references when prompted in the academic profile. This information will be utilized to solicit recommendation letters from your references within the employment system.

Review of applications will begin immediately. Position will remain open until filled.
