A Doctorate (NQF level 10) in Policing or a relevant Doctorate in Law Enforcement with at least six years of lecturing experience at tertiary education level and/or an equivalent combination of relevant professional experience with specialised knowledge and experience in specific areas of Police Leadership and Policing Organisation and advanced teaching and learning skills. Ability to teach at least three of the following areas: Police Leadership, Policing Organisation, Police Operations, Crime Investigation and Criminal Justice and to contribute to the Department’s graduate studies programme. Strong and traceable record of lecturing and student supervision at postgraduate level, research, publications and service.
